This guide will help you resolve common issues when connecting Facebook to Socialbud. If problems persist after following these steps, please contact our Support Team for further assistance. We will try to help with any social network questions or issues you have, but sometimes the only solution is to directly contact the social networks. For example, if you have trouble logging into Facebook, only Meta (Facebook) would be able to assist.
Before linking your Facebook page to Socialbud, ensure the following requirements are met:
Business pages only: Only Facebook business pages can be linked. Personal pages are not supported.
Page age: The Facebook page must be at least 7 days old before attempting to link it.
Admin access:
Your Facebook profile must have admin rights for the business page.
To verify this, go to facebook.com
→ Settings → Page Roles and confirm your role.
Proper permissions are essential for a successful connection.
Grant all Permissions:
During the linking process, ensure that all requested permissions are granted.
Removing or limiting permissions may disrupt the connection.
Edit settings:
If permissions are incorrectly set, use the Edit settings option to review and update them.
Ensure all relevant pages are selected during this process.
Browser settings can sometimes interfere with the connection process.
Enable pop-ups: Ensure that pop-ups are enabled in your browser settings.
Disable blockers: Temporarily disable any VPNs, ad blockers, or enhanced tracking prevention features that may be active in your browser.
If Facebook requests additional verification during the linking process:
Log out of Facebook in your browser.
Log back in via a new tab and complete any CAPTCHA or security checks.
Refresh Socialbud and try the linking process again.
If issues persist, resetting permissions can resolve conflicts:
Go to your Facebook Settings → Business Integrations and remove existing permissions for Socialbud.
Reauthorize the connection through the Platforms and schedule section in Socialbud.
Errors loading Facebook tools may be caused by specific browser settings. Adjust your browser configurations as follows:
Microsoft Edge: Set Tracking Prevention to Balanced.
Mozilla Firefox: Set Enhanced Tracking Protection to Standard.
